Question 1

Is this a sightseeing tour?

Accepted Answer

No. Taiwan is the classroom. Students will learn through school exchange, cultural immersion, place-based learning, hands-on making, environmental observation, and conversations with local communities. The goal is not simply to see Taiwan, but to experience it, ask questions, and learn from it.

Question 2

Are all activities exactly as listed?

Accepted Answer

This site follows the teacher-selected planning version. Some activities may change because of timing, weather, school schedules, venue access, or local conditions. Items marked “time permitting” or “candidate” are not confirmed bookings. Final arrangements will come from the school and trip leaders.

Question 3

Are these photographs from the 2027 program?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Student photographs on this site are from the 2025 St. Mark’s Taiwan program and are identified by year. Other photographs introduce places that are part of the 2027 itinerary.

Question 4

What is KICC Global’s role?

Accepted Answer

KICC Global coordinates the program’s local partnerships and the educational and cultural experiences that help bring the program to life in Taiwan. This program information site is separate from the official St. Mark’s School of Texas website.
